Summary[]

The annual Bear Country Spring Fling Dance Jamboree is coming up, and Papa can't dance with Mama because he is busy. Brother offers to go in his stead, but doesn't know a thing about dancing. Mama teaches him how dancing can be fun.

Plot[]

The Bear Country Spring Fling is coming up and the Bear family is excited. Sister will be performing with her ballet class, and to open up the fling, Mama and Papa are going to kick it off with a dance demonstration. Mama asks Papa to practice with her this afternoon, but Papa tells Mama he has to build the set for the fling. Papa asks Brother what he'll be doing for the fling but Brother does not want to dance, even though he wants to be involved. Papa asks Brother to help out with the set, Brother agrees. Mama wants Papa to work on their dance but Papa is so busy building the stage that he does not have time to practice with Mama. After Papa continues leave to work on the set Papa tells Mama he has to finish the set on time which is why he can't practice, since Mama can't practice the dance by herself and Brother can't work on the stage by himself, Mama conscripts Brother as her dance practice partner. Mama teaches Brother magining (he does one thing while also doing something else) Mama calls them sports moves, which Brother actually feels more comfortable with. He eventually passes it on to Sister who needs to practice her high kicks, he tells her to imagine that she is kicking soccer balls. He does the same with Papa who is hammering nails to imagine himself playing drums in an orchestra. Soon enough the Dance Fling has arrived and the set is complete, unfortunately, Papa gets his foot glued to a piece of wood and his glue remover is at the shop, but he cannot get it as the first act is about to start. Brother reluctantly agrees to fill in for Papa and in the end, he actually enjoyed it. While walking home, Brother admits that he does like dancing, especially since he was able to see it in a different light.
